Our secondary program serves as a critical bridge between primary education and higher academic pursuits, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. During these formative years (ages 12-15), students experience a rich educational environment that balances academic rigor with opportunities for personal growth and character development.

We run two complete curriculum systems at the secondary level: the French curriculum under EDUCMASTER and the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum under WAEC (West African Examinations Council), ensuring our students receive comprehensive preparation for both regional and international educational pathways.

Students at Busy Bees Secondary can choose between our French and English instructional tracks, with both pathways offering comprehensive curriculum coverage:

  • Languages and Literature: Advanced study of language structures, literary analysis, and composition skills in both English and French, with additional language options available
  • Mathematics: Progressive development from fundamental concepts through pre-algebra, algebra, and introductory geometry, emphasizing both theoretical understanding and practical applications
  • Sciences: Integrated approach combining biology, physics, and chemistry (Basic Science in English track; SVT and PCT in French track) through laboratory experiments and conceptual learning
  • Humanities: Exploration of history, geography, and social studies that builds cultural awareness and critical thinking about global issues
  • Technology: Information and communication technology instruction that prepares students for an increasingly digital world
  • Creative Arts: Music, visual arts, and physical education that nurture self-expression and well-being
  • Practical Skills: Home economics, career technology, and civic education that develop life skills and social responsibility

Our secondary program incorporates regular assessments that align with both national and international educational standards. Teachers employ diverse instructional strategies including collaborative projects, independent research, and multimedia presentations to engage different learning styles.

Upon completion of our Grade 9 program, students are awarded dual certification: the BECE certificate from Ghana and the BEPC certificate from Benin Republic. This dual certification provides our graduates with exceptional flexibility and recognition across West Africa and beyond.

Graduates of our secondary program emerge with the academic preparation, critical thinking abilities, and bilingual proficiency necessary to excel in further studies at prestigious high schools and eventually at universities worldwide. The dual certification system ensures maximum opportunities for continued education in both francophone and anglophone educational systems.
